The spacious comfort double room had a decent size, great for a comfortable stay. A great variety at breakfast made mornings enjoyable, especially given the limited dining options nearby.

The hotel's quiet atmosphere was disrupted by continuous repair work, leading to a noisy environment from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., , made it hard to relax. The furniture felt outdated, and there were cleanliness issues with hair found on the bed sheets. Basic amenities like a kettle and additional cosmetics in the room were lacking, which one would expect from a 4-star hotel.

The room was very comfortable

The restaurant was very poor. We ordered 2 staks in the restaurany and it took 30 mins for this to arrive. When it did it was stone cold and they were returned with a request to reheat. We canceled these after waiting another 25 mins.

it deserves its 4 stars. satisfied with the hotel, it's a brilliant place for staying in gelsenkirchen. a comfy bed in our room.

There are a slew of issues that let down the overall experience. The air conditioning was out . Check-in took longer than expected, leaving me standing around when I could have been getting ready. Parking was a hassle, and the room I was given had two single beds instead of a proper double. The breakfast system wasn't organized well, some confusion about what was included with my stay. Basic amenities like a toaster were missing during breakfast, a bit of a letdown.

Very old dangerous lift, price is so high, + breafast 17 EUR/day, +parking 9 EUR/day, massages only to 6 p.m., problems to pay by credit card, smell at corridors, smoking people at hotel gate, neverending noise of ambulance cars from near hospital

The location near the tram , rooms were comfortable, staff were pleasant

Great breakfast selection!

The hotel's location was marvellous, close enough to Gelsenkirchen, next to the park as well as the 302 tram from station. The staff was NICE and pleasant and responsive to what we asked for.

good breakfast buffet in nice dining room overlooking the park. We rquested a quiet room with a good view and that is exactly what we got with a spacious 11th floor room (with a huge bed) overlooking the park.

Although the choice is good breakfat is very expensive if you only want a little to eat first thing in the morning

The breakfast spread was excellent, with plenty of high-quality options, including a great selection of teas. The super nice team and always smiling. The location was convenient for exploring nearby areas.

The food was excellent, the room had a perfect view to the river and the balcony was big enough to enjoy the view,

1) The hotel is so big that although you have to pay for the parking but still you will fight to find one. 2) The internet is so expensive.

Although beginning to look a little dated we had a comfortable stay and our room layout was ideal for our wants. Excellent breakfast choices.

The service in the 'Pub' in the evening was suprisingly poor and slow even though it wasn't full.

o hotelu ne morem povedati veliko, ker sem tam bivala samo eno noc in nisem imela casa, da bi ga raziskala. Super je lokacija hotela, ker je ta v centru mesta. Sobe so mi bile zelo vsec in osebje je bilo prijazno.

Zmotilo me je to, da je potrebno parkiranje pred hotelom plačati.

Tales from the unexpected

The reception staff were accommodating, especially a good blonde-haired lady who made check-in enjoyable. Our beautiful room on the 15th floor was fine, freshly refurbished. Breakfast was great with a fantastic selection. Just a tip, the room's air conditioning may not live up to your hopes, so prepare accordingly!
